Learn new skills in culinary, baking, beverage and hospitality
Develop your repertoire of dishes by learning new skills, techniques, ingredients, equipment and more. Discover a world of culinary and baking methods to create new recipes.
Work through the course material when you are able. The courses are designed so you can access the material at any time. Learn from a variety of resources including videos, guest speakers, handouts, activities, discussions, recorded Q&As and tests.
Learn from active industry professionals. All of the instructors are experienced professionals with a wide breadth of experience to share with students. Every course includes discussions for interaction. There's also a community page for sharing between all students.
Courses are designed so you can work through the material at your own pace. There is no scheduled meeting time. Video demonstrations and lectures are pre-recorded. Get a thorough video lecture from a professional chef explaining not only how to make the recipes, but also the science and theory behind the techniques. Learn about tools, equipment, recipes, and more in these videos. Then read more in extensive handouts and recipe cards. There are online quizzes and exams to test your knowledge. Complete one assignment where you select recipes to cook to demonstrate what you have learned. There is no strict timing, so complete the course whenever you are able.
